As the mask mandate has been lifted and more and more people venture out, we are thrilled to be able to connect with you at a variety of community events. ![]() Your donations at work! LCF was very thankful for the 1st Annual Hootenanny Fundraiser last summer. Between this joint fundraiser with LEAF, our year-end appeal and our monthly donors, LCF was pleased to grant $37,000 in Community Support Grants and $7,500 in Scholarships. We call our monthly donors "Community Builders", because building a better community is at the very heart of our mission. ![]() Former LCF Board Chair, Monica McGuckin explains why she thinks it is important to donate monthly. Thanks to local businesses and partnerships, LCF has been able to raise some funds while having FUN. Thank you Neil Sullivan at the St.Vrain Market for donating a portion of the proceeds from the Valentine's Day Bake Sale to LCF. ![]() Thank you Monica McGuckin for donating over 1,000 beanie babies to LCF. Beanie Babies can be purchased for $10 each at participating stores in town.

LCF was fortunate to partner with Gemini Adventures to bring Lyons this fun 5k/10k race. Proceeds will benefit LCF and the Boulder County Wildfire Fund. ![]() ![]() ![]() The Marshall Wildfire On December 30th, 2021 the most destructive wildfire in the state's history, the Marshall fire, destroyed nearly 1,000 homes in Boulder County. The global outpouring of generous support for the Boulder County Wildfire Fund (managed by the Community Foundation serving Boulder County) has been overwhelming and as of March 10th, the Wildfire Fund has raised over $36 million from more than 74,000 donors.
